Avocado Hummus Toast

Start your day with a delicious twist!

What would be better than a breakfast which is loaded with proteins and fiber to start your day. This avocado hummus toast is the perfect mix of smooth hummus and fresh avocado on crispy toast — easy to make and even easier to love! Oh and also makes your breakfast look so pretty !!



You can use any hummus which you like. It is so easy to make it at home and here are the links to the hummus recipes which are already posted on blog.


Hummus is packed with protein and a source of complex carbs and healthy fat. This serves as a good afternoon snack and also in salads and protein bowls. If you are not a fan of adding bell pepper to hummus, or trying out a hummus for the first time, try out the classic hummus recipe from my page Classic Hummus Recipe


For vegetables, I have added some roasted red bell pepper, black olives and some sprouted beans to garnish.

Also, I have used multi grain loaf of bread for this recipe. You can use any bread which you like. There are literally a thousand ways to customize this toast recipe by adding your favorite veggies and dressings to garnish.


Avocado Hummus Toast

Ingredients -

  • Multi grain bread load, sliced

  • Hummus

  • Avocado, 1, sliced

  • Roasted red bell pepper, canned

  • Black olives, chopped

  • Micro greens (to garnish)

  • Olive oil, 2 tsp

  • Lemon, 1 tsp

  • Salt, 1/4 tsp

  • Black pepper, crushed, 1/4 tsp


Recipe -

  1. In a non stick pan, drizzle some olive oil and toast bread till it is slightly golden on both sides.


  2. I have used store bought roasted red bell pepper for this toast recipe.

    But to make roasted red bell pepper, slice bell pepper and brush with 1 tsp olive oil. Sprinkle some salt on the slices and spread them on same pan on medium heat till it is slightly charred on all slices.


  3. Now just assemble everything. Spread 2 tbsp hummus on slice and place some roasted red bell pepper slices with chopped olives and avocado slices. Add a tsp of lemon juice.

    Garnish with some micro greens and a pinch of crushed black pepper.
